Ice caves are weather- and condition-dependent. If the cave is deemed unsafe on your travel date, we substitute an alternative glacier experience (glacier hike or a different cave) at no extra charge. The drive from Reykjavík is approximately 2.5 hours each way — bring a neck pillow if you want to rest. Children under 10 cannot enter the ice cave for safety reasons.
